This memory is OK
i am not sure if it is my motherboard or the memory but ever since installing it my computer goes into a weird boot loop and wont wake properly from sleep.

I have purchased many terabytes of Corsair memory in last couple of years and had very good luck with it. These particular sticks will only operate at DDR 1333 unless you manually adjust the voltage and timings in the BIOS. The XMP 1600 profile is not recognized. I have several Intel boards with the Z77 chipset and get the same results. It does work, but I would not buy this memory unless you are familiar with overclocking which is required to get it running at the advertised speed.
