Great x1 PCI-e option!
I have a dual screen (motherboard based) HP desktop. I wanted 4 screens, and as soon as you plug in somehing in the x16 slot it disables the onboard video (HD4200 I think).
I bought a HD6770 and that would only run dual screens (I had expected 3 and hoped for 4). I returned that 6770 and got one of these. I inserted a USB3.0 card in the x16 slot, and popped this card in the next slot. I retained onboard dual screens, and ADDED two more screens with this card! I bought a used one here for $80 (braely used - great deal).
Here are some quick feedback points for folks:
This does NOT need a power connector (I have read it draws about 19 watts).
This takes up ONLY a single slot.

Customer review : Great product though a bit pricey for an x1 PCI-e vs x16
Product is easy to install and use. The VGA and DVI ports work great. Did not use the the HDMI port yet. Compared to an x16 PCI Express video card, these x1 types are a bit more expensive.
The only PCI Express x1 video card that would not somehow block my other PCI slots that I require for other expansion cards. I saw others, but was somewhat skeptical or they were sold out. I shopped/looked elsewhere too. Prices was fairly competative. Amazon had free shipping and the very very few times I ever needed their customer service, they were pleasant and responsive.
I used/tested this HIS ATI Radeon HD5450 in three different Dell PC's that I had upgraded to Windows 7. Windows 7 no longer supported the onboard Intel Chipsets that were on the Dell Dimension 4700 and 3100/E310 models.
